“I am writing about a Orkin contract for: squirrel removal, repair of a hole made by squirrels, and disinfectant application. This happened to my Mom, an 83 year old widow on a fixed income, with a hearing disability. The hole was improperly patched with screws extending through the roof that are visible from the ground. The trap was set and the contract indicated a check would be made on 3 occasions…..it has been 5 weeks and my Mom has not been contacted to date. She asked to pay by check, but provided a credit card due to the contract requiring one. Her card was charged $3,400 prior to the work. She is now distraught over losing that much money because she still has the problem! I have discussed with the branch manager in Montgomery without resolution. The contract included dispute resolution through arbitration or mediation. The manager said he was doing that…..which obviously doesn’t work. In fact, he offered a $300 refund because no one from Orkin came back to check the trap…3 trips at $100 each. No offer to rectify the problem…..just a refund of the trip cost because of non performance. He was not concerned with complaints made to the BBB, google or yelp. He indicated that those had been made before. He said that we needed to contact a lawyer and that my phone conversation was over. Well, I certainly wouldn’t want that kind of service from my branch manager. And we do have a consult with an attorney on Feb. 3. I am paying the fees. This shouldn’t happen to anybody, but to take advantage of an elderly widow on a fixed income, with a disability should be criminal. I hope that Orkin leadership sees this review and provides some action. At minimum, they need to do better. This has caused significant worry, concern and aggravation for my Mom who was simply trying to remove a dang squirrel.”

Horrible Service - Terminix Armonk

I was a customer for three years and recently canceled my service contract with Terminix. This location covers the Bronx, NY, and Westchester County. However, Bronx residents’ homes often receive poor service. The team is unreliable and cannot handle more complex pest control needs. They prefer the basic spray-and-go service. When asked to assist with issues like removing hornets, they are limited in what they can do and often respond negatively. Additionally, they struggle to retain staff long-term, making it hard to have a technician familiar with your property. Customer service is also lacking, and both the affiliate and Terminix call centers do not communicate effectively, which often makes coordinating services confusing for the customer.

BEST MOSQUITO, YARD PESTS SERVICE IN SOUTH CAROLINA. ANDREA PRATER IS THE BEST. SHE IS A JOY TO DEAL WITH AND CAN CONSTRUCT A PLAN THAT IS AFFORDABLE AND THOROUGH. THESE DARN CACADI’S ARE DRIVING US CRAZ Y, MIGHT NOT KILL THEM BUT SLOWS THEM DOWN. WE HAD

A TYPE OF WASP THAT DOES NOT STING, BUT WAS KILLING OUR TREES. THEY LAY EGGS, LITTLE WORMS HATCH OUT BY THE THOUSANDS AND THEN

THE TREE DIES FROM THE LARVAE. THEY ELIMINATED THEM LAST YEAR AND JUST SIGNED UP FOR THE SUMMER AGAIN. FEELS GREAT TO SIT ON THE DECK AND NOT BE EATEN BY WORMS AND MOSQUITO’S. SUC H A GOOD C OMPANY AND NO CONTRACTS UNLESS YOU WANT ONE. GREAT PEOPLE

We have thoroughly pleased with the service Tyler has given us over the summer. I love to spend most of my time outdoors from spring through fall. I felt comfortable stay out in the evenings and after dark know that my outdoor areas were free of mosquitoes! I also like that fact that if Im not home when he comes to service, I know exactly what he did and how things are looking.

Two techs were here today. Great job and they were careful to treat toward our property only, so none to little was over-sprayed into the neighboring property.

The poor guys were approached by our neighbor anyway.
