“Orkin is a joke. I had an appointment between two and four on Friday. No one came no one called. I called them and was told the tech never got the message. Would 4 to 6 be OK? I agreed no one came. No one called. I called at 8 PM on Friday and I got a message that they would leave the manager a message to call me at 8 AM on Saturday morning at 8:30. No one had called so I called them and I wanted an answer. The best they could do was to reschedule me that is not acceptable when you’re trying to have something taken care of so my experience with them was that they don’t care about me. I am a number and they’re so big. They don’t need my business. My suggestion is do not go with them because you could have the same thing happen to you. they didn’t even try to make this right go anywhere else. They are a joke and I wish they would go out of business.”

“Writing this review in hopes of saving others from the headaches that Orkin provided me. I would sincerely recommend AVOIDING this branch altogether. As many other reviews have noted, the charges associated with hiring Orkin were NOT explained well. I signed up for a quarterly treatment program which was advertised to cost $165 for one service per quarter. The first bill I received was for $220+ because it included an "initial service fee" that was not explained to me. Then, two months later I received a bill for another $165 even though no additional services were completed. I called to speak with a customer service representative who struggled to explain the reason behind the two bills. This wasn't all that surprising as it took a solid 45mins just to choose a plan in the first place due to the complete lack of transparency regarding charges and service expectations. Despite being turned off by the surprise $220 charge, I paid both bills and continued with service. I then learned that Orkin's "quarterly" service contract actually bills you 5x per year, another $165 in surprise charges. After 4 services, not a single treatment was ever applied to the interior of my home. A service technician spent about five minutes spraying what I later learned was a mixture of peppermint and rosemary oil onto the exterior of my home in hopes of deterring mice and rats. They used the same exact mixture to "treat" for Asian lady beetles, according to one bill I received. Only once did they apply an actual insecticide to combat ants and wasps, and that product is readily available online for ~$50/gallon. By this time I had already paid over $800 to Orkin for... peppermint oil? On the outside of my home? To top it all off, after deciding that Orkin was absolutely NOT worth the money, I called to cancel my service and was met with a wildly inappropriate attitude from the employee who answered the phone. She told me that I was "on the hook" for two more treatments because I signed up for a quarterly plan despite wanting to cancel my services immediately. I pushed back and my plan was ultimately terminated, but not without a slew of sales-esque questions regarding my rationale. Apparently "because I want to" is not an acceptable answer when asked why I wanted to cancel my service. I'm not sure if all Orkin branches are as unprofessional as this one, but again, I highly recommend finding an alternative for your pest control needs.”
