“We moved to this home in 2019 and experienced many spiders and insects inside the house, so we signed up for the Terminex service fairly soon, meaning we were customers for 6+ years. I say that in past tense, because the newest employee, Christopher Martinez, made is so uncomfortable that they’re no longer allowed on our property. My wife works weekend-nights as a nurse, so we have to get service early on weekday mornings, when she’s not having to sleep. I have large dogs in a fenced property, so no one gets in without calling me first. The chemicals Terminix sprays works best when I remove all the furniture from the porches and away from the interior walls, and wipe everything down so it’s applied directly to the walls and floors. That means I need time and notice they’re coming. Mr. Martinez showed up at the secure gate randomly., when I had no appointment, and left without ever leaving his vehicle, but then told his company that he had completed his regular spray service, which I know because I received an email saying it was done and my next regular appointment would be in 3 more months, despite the security camera evidence that shows his dishonesty. I contacted the business and he was rescheduled for 10- noon on another day, but never showed. I’ll had to call multiple times and the excuses about why he wasn’t showing up didn’t fit with reality, though he did eventually arrive. Once here, he seemed perfectly competent in spraying, and I’d hoped that things were getting back on track with the company I’ve been a happy customer with for so many years. But then he came back out on the 22nd of January. Although I received a message that he was coming this time, it was on a weekend, not a weekday like I’ve always had, like is supposed to be in my customer notes, and like I’ve informed him we require. Terminix usually sends a website link where you can track your tech’s journey to your home, but I was sitting outside when I saw his truck drive by, and it wasn’t until after that I got the text saying he was one minute away. Then, I received a call from him while I was putting my dogs away (since I got no prior notice he was close), and he messaged that he was at my property, but since I wasn’t there, he would reschedule. Since I was outside at the driveway, I knew this wasn’t true. He’d parked down the street, not at another property, but on the shoulder, NOT in my driveway. I could think this was harmless error and not trying to mess up my appointment, but then I saw his voicemail, where the number he told me to call him back at and the number he called from were off by three digits, making it a little difficult to call and tell him to come in. Instead of using the erroneous number he provided, I texted to let him know he was down the street instead of at my house, but he knew that already. After that service, I wanted to let the company know that he wasn’t welcome and see if there was anyone else available, but going through their website, I saw that there was no way to edit my payment information or cancel the service. That’s when I went through trying to CANCEL the Terminix service, and once I was able to contact someone during business hours, I was told I couldn’t until I paid my outstanding bill in full. The trick is, when you call, you have to say that you want to pay your bill and get them to admit you have no bill due to pay, because if you call and first say you want to cancel your subscription or close your account, they send you to the high-pressure sales team of customer-retention specialists that do things like put you on hold so long you want to give up, then refuse to proceed unless you answer questions about why you want out, as if it’s not your right to stop paying them whenever you want. After going through that, I went from wanting a new tech to wanting a new company all together. Or I’ll just accept the spiders- they gross me out less.”

I was a customer for three years and recently canceled my service contract with Terminix. This location covers the Bronx, NY, and Westchester County. However, Bronx residents’ homes often receive poor service. The team is unreliable and cannot handle more complex pest control needs. They prefer the basic spray-and-go service. When asked to assist with issues like removing hornets, they are limited in what they can do and often respond negatively. Additionally, they struggle to retain staff long-term, making it hard to have a technician familiar with your property. Customer service is also lacking, and both the affiliate and Terminix call centers do not communicate effectively, which often makes coordinating services confusing for the customer.

BEST MOSQUITO, YARD PESTS SERVICE IN SOUTH CAROLINA. ANDREA PRATER IS THE BEST. SHE IS A JOY TO DEAL WITH AND CAN CONSTRUCT A PLAN THAT IS AFFORDABLE AND THOROUGH. THESE DARN CACADI’S ARE DRIVING US CRAZ Y, MIGHT NOT KILL THEM BUT SLOWS THEM DOWN. WE HAD

A TYPE OF WASP THAT DOES NOT STING, BUT WAS KILLING OUR TREES. THEY LAY EGGS, LITTLE WORMS HATCH OUT BY THE THOUSANDS AND THEN

THE TREE DIES FROM THE LARVAE. THEY ELIMINATED THEM LAST YEAR AND JUST SIGNED UP FOR THE SUMMER AGAIN. FEELS GREAT TO SIT ON THE DECK AND NOT BE EATEN BY WORMS AND MOSQUITO’S. SUC H A GOOD C OMPANY AND NO CONTRACTS UNLESS YOU WANT ONE. GREAT PEOPLE

We have thoroughly pleased with the service Tyler has given us over the summer. I love to spend most of my time outdoors from spring through fall. I felt comfortable stay out in the evenings and after dark know that my outdoor areas were free of mosquitoes! I also like that fact that if Im not home when he comes to service, I know exactly what he did and how things are looking.

Two techs were here today. Great job and they were careful to treat toward our property only, so none to little was over-sprayed into the neighboring property.

The poor guys were approached by our neighbor anyway.
